The goal was to create a platform that finally aligned with how Third Round truly works—a centralized, structured, and intuitive environment that could support their entire production chain. They needed a system that clearly defined organizations, projects, and rounds; one that grouped renders, comments, and approvals in a way that made sense to both the internal team and clients. It needed to capture the full lifecycle of a project, from kickoff to final delivery, and bring order to how files move between designers, managers, and external stakeholders. Above all, the aim was to streamline communication, reduce confusion, and give everyone involved a shared source of truth. By grounding the platform in their real workflows, they wanted to remove daily pain points, speed up revisions, eliminate last-minute scrambles, and set the studio up with a technical foundation ready to scale as they handled more clients, more assets, and more ambitious projects.

We partnered closely with Third Round to design and build a custom platform built entirely around their real production process. It starts with a clean structure—organizations, projects, and rounds—where each round has its own files, feedback threads, status markers, deadlines, and approvals. Throughout discovery, we mapped every step of their workflow, from how rounds are defined to how updates are reviewed and greenlit. Then we translated those insights into a UX/UI that feels natural to the team: project and round views that reflect actual production needs, asset organization designed for thousands of files, and simple interfaces that work smoothly for both internal users and clients. On the development side, we built with performance, reliability, and scalability at the core—smart data handling for heavy asset loads, safeguards to avoid mix-ups, and a flexible architecture ready for future features. The platform rolled out in phases, improved through real project testing, and quickly became the studio’s central hub. Today, it replaces scattered tools with one cohesive system, speeds up turnaround times, gives clients transparency, and supports everything from daily revisions to contract handling—all under one roof.
